Someone Recycled Their Plastic Water Tank Into A Parking Space & Anand Mahindra Is Impressed!
After Anand Mahindra promised to ¡®banish¡¯ plastic bottles from the corporate boardrooms, the chairman of the Mahindra Group shared a picture of a water tank that had been converted into a makeshift parking for two scooters.
In what looks like a water tank that was probably going to be disposed off, two scooters can be seen parked. One side of the tank has been cut off to facilitate entry and exit of vehicles.
Mahindra often shares such creative innovations and this time too he applauded the eco-friendly parking idea for recycling a plastic water tank. ¡®I had tweeted about banning plastic water bottles in my office & I suppose that could apply to a number of plastic products around us. But good to see people creatively recycling stuff as well!¡¯ he wrote.
The tweet garnered over 1,419 retweets and 14,600 likes. It also inspired people to share their own ways of reusing and recycling plastic products.

This is not the first time that Mahindra has shared such creative innovation and praised it too. A video of a creative ¡®hydraulic door¡¯ closer won the Internet, thanks to Anand Mahindra who took to Twitter to post it. He even praised the creativity of the mastermind who came up with the simple yet genius idea.
The video showed how a simple bottle filled with water could be used to create a hydraulic door. They tied the water bottle with a string at the top of the door and every time someone opened it, it automatically shut because of the weight of the bottle. The video left everyone impressed on the Internet.
The TikTok video by @rinkal_dhillon went viral not only on the app, but on other social media platforms as well. Mahindra captioned the video ¡®My #whatsappwonderbox is filled with examples of modest, but out-of-the-box thinking applied to everyday problems. This person spent just ?2 to rig this door closure versus ?1500 for a hydraulic one! How do we channel this creativity so that we move from Jugaad to Jhakaas!¡¯ Here is the tweet:

Another video shared by Anand Mahindra won everyone¡¯s heart. It was one where a farmer was attempting to shift the grain and husks in his field after a harvest. Normally, this would have to be done by hand, as the farmer's only piece of machinery seems to be a tractor meant for ploughing.
I think the phrase ¡®Necessity is the mother of invention¡¯ was invented by Indians! Here¡¯s a new product our Farm & Construction sectors will have to consider as a replacement for an excavator: A ¡®Khatiya-vator¡¯. #whatsappwonderbox pic.twitter.com/av3qNdIAHd

However, the farmer displayed some true Indian enterprise, modifying his tractor with a mechanical arm to turn it into a sort of excavator. He didn't have a giant metal scoop for the end, so instead he just used his khatiya (cot).
