A self-confessed Nice Jewish Boy (NJB), Elan¡¯s connection to Israel is both cultural and personal. His first name, Elan, means ¡°oak tree¡± in Hebrew, and the surname Bibas is a common Sephardic Jewish last name, especially in Israel.
In 2014, Elan celebrated his bar mitzvah at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. He¡¯s visited Israel multiple times, including a 2022 trip with friends where they hiked Masada, partied in Tel Aviv, explored the Old City, visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial, and shared plenty of footage along the way.
