In the video, he is seen taking a boat ride with his son, recalling his personal experience at the scared gathering over two decades ago.
Mahakumbh inspired Ritesh Agarwal to start his business model
During a recent visit to the sacred event, Ritesh shared a video recalling his first Mahakumbh experience when he visited the holy event 20 years ago.
He said when he came to the event last time, which was in the year 2000, he and his family stayed at a relative's place. He remembers that at that time he wished that they had booked a hotel instead. According to him, that moment planted the seed of his business journey of hotels.

Ritesh went on to say that now when he sees people choosing OYO to stay during their Mahakumbh trip, it makes him feel that "it¡¯s all guided by divine intervention."
