Punjab Kings chased a target of 172 runs on a track that offered a grip and variable bounce, with a blazing start from Prabhsimran playing a major role. He demolished the LSG bowling attack in the first 10 overs, smashing nine fours and three sixes to put Punjab in complete control and effectively steal the win.
With the foundation laid, it was then a cakewalk for his skipper, Shreyas Iyer (52 not out off 30 balls), as Punjab completed the chase in just 16.2 overs.
