Shah's tweet read: "Today I had a food delivery guy breakdown cause he almost had 3 accidents trying to deliver my food. I gave him water and a good tip and then apologised TO HIM cause my 500 buck dinner should NEVER be worth his life. Pls be nice to your delivery people. They are doing their best."

They are doing their best
In another tweet, Shah wrote that while he understands our anger when our food is running late, we also have to take into consideration the kind of danger the delivery executives put themselves in to deliver the food in time.
If you're food is late it's fine. I understand the anger. But they are risking their live's to get it to you and no matter how hungry you are...it should never be at the cost of someone's life.

He added that we should always tip our drivers, and give them respect for all that they do. He said, and we agree that 'a little bit of goodwill goes a long way.'
Tip your delivery people. They don't get enough respect or money. Tip them. Be nice to them. Talk to them. Respect them. A little bit of goodwill goes a long way.

He also acknowledged that there are bad incidents, but they should never take away a hard-working person's credit. He wrote, 'I've NEVER been rude to a single delivery person because I understand where they may be coming from. The guy today said I was the first person in 10 years who spoke and understood him without complaining.'
Yeah there are bad incidents too. I agree. I've NEVER been rude to a single delivery person because I understand where they maybe coming from. The guy today said I was the first person in 10 years who spoke and understood him without complaining.

Just be nice. That's all.
People reacted to Shah's post and left a bunch of comments.
One user wrote, "Once ordered some food in my clg and the Zomato app showed the delivery guy a totally wrong route. Lad was stuck at a place for 15 mins and I had to WhatsApp him my location. He felt so guilty he wouldn't even accept the tip. Told him it's alright & the tip was for his troubles."
"I find it disgusting when I see, at late night, food deliverers on phone struggling to locate the exact home, often walking up and down the wrong staircases," wrote another user.
"So nice to hear about the manner in which you dealt with the delivery boy. We all need to extend compassion to them and care for them too," mentioned a third user.
