People Diss Entitled Customer Who Shared Rude Conversation With Zomato Customer Care Personnel

With the rise in technology and innovation, almost everything can be available to us without us having to step out of our house. While we sit in the comfort of our homes, we can order food, groceries and even shop via various apps.

But let's just admit that food delivering services such as Zomato has totally changed our lives for the best. A person who just doesn't know how to cook can survive happily and eat any food of their choice thanks to this and various other food delivering portals.

However, people who deliver food to us are also humans and just because we have paid for our meal doesn't mean we own the executives who deliver our food to us. These executives try their level best to deliver our food to us at any time and situation, but if things sometimes get a little tough, it's just human to cut them some slack.

An entitled Reddit user didn't think so and shared his conversation with a Zomato customer care executive. The caption of the screenshot read, "Ordered Starbucks from Zomato today and my order got delayed and cancelled."

In the conversation, the executive mentioned why his food was late. He said that the order is too large and they are trying to arrange a buddy rider along with the valet to carry the large order.

However, the rude customer kept saying that it isn't their problem and it is quite shameful, without trying to understand the situation.

After this, the entire conversation took a very different turn. The customer executive asked the guy how can someone order coffee worth Rs 4000. The customer then got really offended and said how can he talk to him like that. Then the consumer executive jokingly asked him to lodge an FIR against him and the customer said he will complain.

Meanwhile, the customer care executive kept sending the customer discount coupons worth Rs 150 then Rs 250. After talking to the customer, the customer care exec trolled him ultimately by cancelling the entire order and initiating a complete refund.

People on Reddit were quick to criticize the rude customer for being so entitled and said that they totally deserved it.

Some were even fuming at the customer for being so disrespectful. One person said, "The way you started the conversation with the customer care - you absolutely deserved it. Not sure why no one pointed that out to you. Learn how to respect people who work in such jobs." Another one added, "If I was facing him I would tell the rider to take the food and eat it himself and mark the delivery as done and mark the customer on the system as fraud. As a customer, he had no right to act like that to someone doing his job."

Someone else said, "I just think u r being a Karen if the food comes cold return it back saying it was cold or keep it and give less feedback it's no big deal there are many ways to handle it properly than just complaining."

Many others voiced the same feeling.
