"Most Expensive McDonald's I've Ever Had": Customer Fined Rs. 10,000 For Eating Slowly

There is nothing that a McDonald's quick meal can't fix. The lightly salted fries, the cheesy burgers, and even the large Coke, everything blends in perfectly to give you comfort.
McDonald's is a popular choice among people, as when it comes to burgers, one can't ask for much more than good quality at a reasonable price.
However, a customer in Cambridge discovered that the cost of a dinner at McDonald's, which is often quite reasonable, was more than the price of a restaurant rated five stars or higher.
The only thing he did wrong was order too much food and spend too much time cleaning his plate at McDonald's, which resulted in him having to pay a hefty bill for his meal.
Here is what happened:
Shapour Meftah visited McDonald's on Newmarket Road, Cambridge, and parked his car in the parking space allotted to the fast-food restaurant. After work, he met his brother there, had a lovely meal, and returned home.
Everything went smoothly until he started receiving penalty notices from a private parking firm called UK Parking Control for parking his car at McDonald's for an unreasonable amount of time.

His two visits to the McDonald's location on Newmarket Road on two separate days, January 4 and January 6, 2023, resulted in the company issuing him two fixed penalty notices of approximately INR 10,000.
The parking company issued him a ticket because he violated the 90-minute time limit for McDonald's customers who parked at the space.
"There's no sign inside McDonald's that says you have 90 minutes to sit, eat, and go. You don't want to rush your meal, and we ordered quite a bit of food," Meftah said,
