Another man, however, has different views. He said, "A video of a couple kissing in #DelhiMetro was recently shared on Twitter with the claim that it was an act of cultural genocide. When I visited Europe for the first time, I was delighted to see people expressing their love openly, and it became my favourite thing to witness."

Kissing In Public Is Not Illegal In India; It's Just Frowned Upon
Public displays of affection, including kissing, are not illegal in India. However, it can be considered culturally inappropriate in certain places and situations, particularly in more conservative and traditional areas.
There have been instances where couples have been fined or even arrested for kissing in public, under the charges of "public indecency" or "disrupting public order". These incidents are usually driven by complaints from onlookers or the moral police.
It is always best to exercise discretion and avoid engaging in public displays of affection that may cause offense or disturbance to others, particularly in more conservative areas.
