Devotees in Vrindavan sip mysterious water believing it to be ¡®Charan Amrit¡¯, turns out it was AC water
A viral video from Mathura's Banke Bihari Mandir shows devotees mistakenly drinking water from an elephant sculpture, thinking it was Charan Amrit, when it was AC runoff. Despite warnings, some continued, sparking an online debate about gullibility and calls for scientific awareness.
A video of Mathura's Banke Bihari Mandir in Vrindavan has emerged, showing people enthusiastically drinking water flowing from the mouth of an elephant sculpture, mistaking it for Charan Amrit¡ªa revered donation of holy water thought to have touched Lord Krishna's feet. The video, which was extensively shared on social media, shows scores of believers collecting the water by cupping their hands or using cups, motivated by the notion that it was blessed.

However, a Jagran report stated that the water was discharged from an air conditioning unit flowing through tubes shaped like elephants, which are part of the temple's architecture.
Despite this clarification, several followers continued to drink the water, as seen in the video, despite a spectator attempting to advise them that the liquid was not holy water, but just AC runoff.

The incident has prompted a spirited online debate, with many social media users discussing the need for a more scientific view.
