What Luck! Now Couples Have A Chance To Redo Their Bad Honeymoon With A Free Trip To Maldives
Couples whose honeymoons didn't go to plan could get a chance to do it all over again - only this time on a free holiday to the Maldives without mishaps
A newlywed couple is probably the most excited about their honeymoon. After all the chaos of going through all the marriage rituals, a honeymoon is something a couple can enjoy with each other. But what if this turns out to be horrible and the trip doesn't turn out the way you planned it.
The reasons can be many. The pandemic, bad weather, bad health- which is sad considering its a once in a lifetime trip.
However, there's good news. A travel company is looking to give a couple whose honeymoon went wrong the chance to get a proper holiday. The best part is that it is a free trip to the Maldives.
A company named Winged Boots is offering one lucky couple a free 10-night, full board stay at the Raffles Maldives Meradhoo Resort, which includes five nights in a beach villa with a pool, and five in an overwater villa which also has a private pool. Oh, and you'll also get ?1,000 spending money to use in the resort's restaurants, bars or to book excursions.
The vacation features a keep in one of the most over-the-water villas, luxury dining, lavish spas, a jacuzzi and the best food one can imagine.
The competition is open to couples who married or entered a civil partnership before January 2022, and applications have already opened on the Winged Boots website. (This is also where you'll find the full terms and conditions).
If a couple wants to enter the competition, they simply need to share why they think they deserve a second chance at a honeymoon, whether that's a heartfelt story or your trip was just filled with plenty of hilarious (or not so hilarious) mishaps.
The couple needs to enter by April 17, 2022, when entries close. Shortlisted applicants will then be contacted for a video interview, and an independent judge will ultimately decide who wins the free holiday.
Managing Director of Winged Boots, David Ox said that the competition came about because the company "wanted to offer one couple the opportunity to celebrate their relationship with an unforgettable honeymoon experience in the Maldives".
He added that the winners will also get 24/7 access to a personal travel manager to help plan the perfect itinerary for their trip.
This is an opportunity of a lifetime.
