#BlackLivesMatter: White People Doing The 'George Floyd Challenge' Is Racism At Its Worst
Social media is presently being flooded with pictures and videos of white people who are mocking Floyd's murder by participating in a trend called the 'George Floyd Challenge'. Yes, this is what the world has come to.
2020 has been absolute mayhem. If natural occurring factors weren't enough, man-made disasters showed up and wreaked yet more havoc.
George Floyd, a 46-year-old African-American man was reportedly killed after a cop placed his knee on Floyd's neck. The same cop allegedly paid no heed to onlookers who protested to the harsh treatment or to the man himself whose last words were "I can't breathe." The protests that followed, in Minneapolis, Minnesota and in major world cities, had one voice when saying black lives matter.
Recently, social media was flooded with pictures and videos of white people allegedly mocking Floyd's death by participating in a trend called the 'George Floyd Challenge'. Yes, this is what the world has come to.
Racists are now doing the George Floyd ¡°challenge.¡± This is what we¡¯re up against, folks. It¡¯s a privilege to make sarcasm about racism instead of experiencing it your whole life pic.twitter.com/LmS1mnqCcj

These people are apparently of the thought that recreating a tragic incident like the one at hand can pass off as entertainment. Even though most of the videos have been taken down by concerned platforms where they were posted in the first place, Snapchat and TikTok continue to be the flag-bearers when it comes to such content being shared it seems.
People were quick to take screenshots of the videos and are furious at the insensitive behaviour of human beings that they are mocking someone's death. Reportedly, the three young boys who participated in the videos have already been arrested. However, there are many who still remain unidentified.
I don¡¯t truck with ¡°Cancel Culture¡± but someone needs to cancel these little bastards doing a ¡°George Floyd Challenge¡± ... This is the root of the sickness. These boys require an education; once they¡¯re identified, perhaps they get one. Do your thing Twitter. pic.twitter.com/5jBkcZSJ7D
