A building in China, dubbed the "Dystopian Apartment," has lately gone viral on TikTok. Amazingly, it can house up to 30,000 people. The video, shared by @fatheristheone with a drone, drew attention for reasons other than the spectacular interior and distinctive architecture. What are the features of the Dystopian Apartment?
The "dystopian" apartment, known as the Regent International, is located in Qianjiang Century City, notably in Hangzhou's major business district. The structure was built by Alicia Loo, the principal designer of a 7-star hotel called the Singapore Sands Hotel, and opened in 2013.

Which amenities does the apartment feature?
The Regent International has a variety of amenities spread throughout its more than 30 levels. Some examples are restaurants, swimming pools, and manicure salons.
The building also houses its own food stores and internet caf¨¦s. Essentially, anything one might find "in town" can be found within the "dystopian apartment".
How do the pros and cons of the apartment affect residents?
As with anything in life, there are advantages and disadvantages. After all, the building is known as a "dystopian apartment" for a reason. As previously stated, many people marvel at how so many people can live in one location.
Residents of the United States often favour privacy. They have space from their neighbours.
They even have a yard where they can hang out or play with their dogs. A major disadvantage of this type of housing arrangement is that people will have very limited personal space, with little opportunity to go outside or get some fresh air. Check the apartment here.
