Quick-Thinking Kolkata Girl Confronts Stalker On Bus, Police Rush To Nab Him
The woman claims that the 42-year-old stalker was taking her photographs on his mobile. When she confronted him, he said that he was clicking a few selfies and that she is making a fuss out of nothing.
A 23-year-old student in Kolkata was travelling on a bus when she found a man clicking pictures of her against her consent. According to a report by TOI, the incident happened on January 1 around 3 PM.
The woman claims that the 42-year-old stalker was taking her photographs on his mobile. When she confronted him, he said that he was clicking a few selfies and that she is making a fuss out of nothing.
When she saw the man continue to do the same, she got up and asked him for his phone so she could delete the pictures.

Caught in the act, the man pushed her and tried to escape. The woman shouted and blocked his way while dialling the police emergency number.
¡°Despite being browbeaten, the woman did not think twice before challenging the man even as she sought police help,¡± said a senior divisional officer.

The bus halted at a crossing and a nearby police van took notice of the commotion that was happening inside the vehicle. The cops intervened, nabbed the stalker and seized his phone. The device has now been sent for forensic examination.
Last year a woman found herself in an uncomfortable situation after a man flashed his privates to her in the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro.
The Metro commuter took to Twitter to share her horrendous experience. She wrote, "This man(right, grey jacket+backpack) flashed his p***s at me inside #Delhi Metro around 6 PM while I was returning from work today. Feel shaken, numb and angry. Didn't even remember I had taken this pic till I spoke to a friend hours later," and tagged DMRC and Delhi Police in the thread.
After the post went viral, the man was arrested. The accused had recharged his Contact less Smart Cards (CSC) online with his mobile phone number which was later traced helping the police track him down.
The Delhi Metro Rail Police (DMRP) had taken the accused into custody from Gurugram, Haryana.
