POTUS Has Landed & Trump's Hotel Stay Is Going To Cost A Whopping Rs 8 Lakh Per Night

The 45th President of the United States is officially coming to India and the preparations seem to be all done - wall et al. Along with his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, POTUS has landed. The duo is also accompanied by Donald Trump's daugher, Ivanka Trump and son-in-law, Jared Kusher.

After setting foot in Ahmedabad, they will be visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra.

Donald Trump is a man known for his extravagant ways of life and his stay in the country has been designed according to his taste. The Grand Presidential Suite, or the Chanakya Suite in ITC Maurya on Sardar Patel Marg in Delhi, has been booked for the president's visit to the country.

According to reports, the suite costs Rs 8 lakh per night; Ivanka and her husband will also stay in the same hotel.

The Grand Presidential's Suite is known for its unique Indian theme and is lauded for its extraordinarily grand structure. Boasting of silk-panelled walls and wooden flooring, the suite is decorated with breathtaking artwork.

The suite consists of a peacock-themed 12-seater private dining room, a luxurious living room, a mini spa and a gym along with a reception area as well.

After Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, Donald Trump is the 4th US president to stay at the ITC Maurya. A private chef has been appointed to cater to the culinary needs of the Trump family and the pantry has been stocked up with the POTUS' favourites - diet coke and cherry vanilla ice cream.
