Moving on from exes can be difficult and some people take a lot of time moving on from their loved ones. But how far can you stretch it? Is it ok to not move on from your ex and forgive them or be happy for them?
A woman shared a similar incident on Reddit, here's her story.
When did the woman meet her ex-fianc¨¦?
A 25-year-old woman met her ex-fianc¨¦ when she was 20. They dated from 20-23 and got engaged during that time. "Prior to our meeting, he had a long-term relationship with another girl. I knew about it but he assured me they were done," the woman wrote.

Why is the woman still angry at her ex-fianc¨¦?
The woman shared that her boyfriend wasn't entirely over her ex. When the to-be wedded sent out the invitations, the boyfriend called it all off.
"I was devastated and heartbroken like I had never been before, and have never been since. I truly thought that that man was my forever and he just broke it off like nothing. Three weeks later he was back with the first girl," the woman confessed in the Reddit post.
What happened now?
Recently his sister informed her that the boyfriend and the other girl are getting married.

The woman immediately replied, "I was like oh lol cool. Good for him. I guess I said it sarcastically cause she gave me a weird face. I was like girl what do you want me to say? She was like maybe just be happy for him? I just said okay, I hope he¡¯s happy."
The same night the woman got a text from her ex saying, ¡°My sister told me that you weren¡¯t enthusiastic about us. I understand but I just wanted to say I am sorry for everything I did and put you through." She left him on read.
"I was heartbroken and humiliated."
How did people on the internet react?
"How is this person a good friend? Is she deluded?," a user pointed out about his sister. Another user also said, "Your friend is an AH. WTF? Was she born under a rock or does she lack the capability of basic levels of empathy?"
"Your friend is acting awfully, she shouldn't have told her brother your reaction, it's just shit stirring. You didn't even react badly. Why on earth does she feel you need to be involved with picking gifts? That's obviously something you wouldn't want to do NTA," added another.
