Woman Thanks Dentist For Doing A 'Miracle Job' In Restoring Her Teeth
Poor dental health can cause not only mental stress but also frequent toothache and other dental risks like tooth loss, bad breath and even heart diseases and infections, among other things.
In a world that is increasingly judgemental and overly fixated on looks, suffering from a physical condition can be stressful and nerve wracking. Same goes for poor dental health - apart from the ailment or defect itself, it invites a lot of unsolicited advice, criticism and snide comments.
So when a woman's dentist worked a miracle on her teeth, she was utterly delighted and extremely thankful for it.
25-year-old Ashely Burris of Texas wore dentures for several years and was conscious of smiling in public for the longest time. Reportedly she did not even allow her husband or children to enter the bathroom when she brushed her teeth. She was ashamed of the fact that her front teeth were missing and that she has some other dental problems as well.
However, Dr Kenny Wilstead proved to be her angel, who by restoring her teeth gave her the confidence to smile wide, without being embarrassed.
Ashley visited Wilstead in September and underwent a surgery that gave her a roundhouse zirconia bridge to repair her teeth. In just a few hours, Ashley¡¯s teeth and life changed.

A small video of the restoration of Ashley¡¯s teeth, with before and after footage is going viral on social media; not only are people happy for her, but some have a new-found respect for dentists.
A short video of Ashley¡¯s dental restoration has now been shared on social media.
One user commented, ¡®Wow... I'd die if someone were to do this for me. What an angel that doctor is. And she's absolutely glowing!¡¯ while another wrote, ¡®Great job, Mr dental man. The lady was beautiful before, anyway, must feel more confident. Cool video. Thanks¡¯.
However not all dentists are as professional as Ashley's.
A dentist in Anchorage, Alaska, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for extracting an unconscious patient's tooth while riding a hoverboard.
Seth Lockhart was filmed carrying out a tooth extraction on patient Veronica Wihelm while riding a hoverboard. The video that has gone viral shows Lockhart spinning around after performing the dangerous procedure.
It's common knowledge that a medical procedure like tooth extraction is extremely delicate and requires due care. But this doctor, for some reason, thought it acceptable to perform the procedure while on a hoverboard.
