Initially, people thought they had taken the wrong turn and reached the wrong place.
According to reports, the thugs of the village of Khairani are said to have used a tractor to plow the road and sow wheat fields in its place, as stated in reports from the media. When the people of Khadampur village objected, the troublemakers retaliated by attacking those villagers and threatening them with sticks and rods.

People who live in the village of Khadampur have been forced to make their way about with the help of footpaths for the past few days.
On Wednesday, several residents of the hamlet of Khadampur brought their complaints to the Zonal Officer. The officer gave the villagers his word to look into the situation and cautioned them that those responsible for the incident would not get off scot-free. He said the locals would be able to use the road again shortly.
