'Trees Just Explode': Donald Trump On How Wildfires May Have Started
US President Donald Trump revealed that he thinks 'trees just explode' on how the raging wildfires in the country started. Known for making statements with little next to no credibility, Trump has proven once again that he does not understand how science works.
Do you remember when you were younger and thought that world leaders are people who know a lot of things and probably have a lot of knowledge about how everything works? Do you think the same way anymore? Let me make this very difficult choice easy for you.
When asked how the raging wildfires in the country started, US President Donald Trump said that he thinks 'trees just explode.' Known for making statements with little next to no credibility, Trump has proven once again that he does not understand how science works.
He said that wildfires are caused due to poor maintenance of forests which makes them more combustible.

"There has to be strong forest management. With regard to the forests, when trees fall down after a short period of time, about 18 months, they become very dry. They become really like a match stick," he said.
"They just explode", he added.
More than five billion acres have been destroyed due to wildfire in California, Oregon and Washington state. While several people have lost their lives, others had to vacate their homes to survive.
Pictures of orange skies from California went viral all over social media recently, making it look like a movie set. The towns are covered in tonnes of noxious fumes, making it difficult for people to breathe.

However, on the third day of a re-election campaign, Trump made this statement: "It will start getting cooler. You just watch".
To which, Wade Crowfoot, the head of the California Natural Resources Agency responded, "I wish science agreed with you".
Not providing any evidence for his statement, Trump added, "I don't think science knows, actually."
It has been long discussed by expert scientists that the planet is getting warmer due to human activity. However, due to the ignorance of the same, many leaders are not prioritising climate change as an issue which could pose a threat to us as well as the future generations.
Washington state Governor Jay Inslee said it is extremely important that people elect a 'climate president' in the coming Presidential elections in November. He tweeted:
This moment requires action, not denial. We must come together around science to build a better future for all Americans.
