Just when we¡¯ve all given up on humanity, someone or the other does something that restores all our faith back. This time, it happens to be a gentleman named Tim Crowley.
Tim was enjoying his Saturday and just drinking with a couple of friends at his neighbour¡¯s house. While sitting outside, he noticed a bird fall from the sky. The friends immediately rushed to the bird and their fear of it having been injured due to the fall turned out to be true.
They texted the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah and got a quick reply which asked them to bring in the little bird.

But there was a very major problem they had to deal with: they were all tipsy and immediately knew that they shouldn¡¯t be driving drunk. That¡¯s when they decided to book an Uber for the bird!
Now, of course, the request was slightly strange and the first cab driver cancelled on them. But the second Uber driver, Christy Guynn, agreed and picked up the bird. She¡¯s been quoted saying that:
"The only noise was the chirping. I guess he was happy when I turned off the air conditioning off and rolled the windows down a little bit. I definitely think it was a little too cold for him."

Turns out, the little bird was just two weeks old and probably became victim to the fall due to its inexperience. However, Tim¡¯s action saved it while also not compromising on road safety. Even the professionals at Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah appreciated his efforts by saying:
¡°What do you do when you find a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal, but you've "had a few too many? WELL, this rescuer called an UBER driver! NO, seriously, this little orphaned Lesser Goldfinch was the sole occupant of an Uber vehicle for a ride to WRCNU yesterday. While we feel we've seen it all and can't be amazed by anything, there is always SOMEONE out there to prove us wrong. Thank you to the rescuer who helped this little one get the care it needed in a timely manner and thank you for keeping yourself safe and others on the road safe as well!¡±
