However, it appears that even the most 'simple' math questions baffle individuals. Users on X have been having difficulty understanding a child's exam question.

@yawdmontweet posted a screenshot of the multiple-choice quiz, stating, "Jah know start diss a hurt mi head." And the question is actually quite easy. But if you have even the slightest hesitation, it will send you into a tailspin.

It begins with the question: "What is the closest time to midnight?" Obviously, you must know what time it is at midnight.

A. 11:55am

B. 12:06am

C. 11:50am

D. 12:03am

As users sought to answer the children's math question, the tweet received hundreds of answers.

One person wrote, "11:55 AM lol." "The answer is clearly C because we can't go back in time," said another, igniting a new argument.

"The use of 'to' in this phrasing is confusing sensible people," someone else observed. "The question could have been written more precisely, in my opinion."

Others concurred: "Without more information, it's difficult to choose an answer." We say time in a clockwise direction, thus A is the nearest if we're talking about the following midnight.

"However, it did not state which midnight this D it closest."

But, if we take the question in its most basic form, the answer is definitely D, as many, many users correctly predicted. Because midnight is at 12 a.m., D is the closest time by three minutes.

To be honest, it appears like we're all getting a little too engaged in the subject. It truly is a straightforward scenario regarding time - and specifically, the distinction between AM and PM. Don't even get me started on trigonometry and algebra.
