Indulging in bar crawls has become a cherished routine for many of us seeking vibrant evenings with friends. The allure lies in going from one hotspot to another, embracing the twilight hours. However, two friends from Australia took their bar crawl way too seriously and decided to break the world record for most bar visits in one night alone.
Who Made The World Record?
Harry Kooros and Jake Loiterton, residents of Sydney, Australia, etched their names in the hallowed halls of pub-crawling glory by breaking the Guinness World Record for ¡°most pubs visited in 24 hours.¡±
What Was Their Goal?
In a daring quest for the ultimate pub adventure, two spirited friends from Australia set out on an extraordinary journey: to conquer the coveted Guinness World Record for ¡°most pubs visited in 24 hours.¡±
Their ambition knew no bounds as they tirelessly ventured from one establishment to another, their passion for exploration and revelry guiding their every step. They achieved an unprecedented feat by raising the bar to an astonishing 99 pubs in a single day. This staggering accomplishment surpassed the previous record of 78 pubs visited within a day, solidifying their names in the history of legendary pub crawls.
How Did They Achieve The Remarkable Feat?
At midnight, Harry Kooros and Jake Loiterton began their big journey to visit lots of pubs. They couldn't use taxis or cars, as per the rules set by the GWR. They took a few short breaks to rest, but they faced many tough moments during their trip.
Staying hydrated while visiting many pubs was a tough task for them. They tried to drink non-alcoholic drinks too. But some pubs denied them entry because of their cameras. They had to walk around the city all day, carrying everything, which made it even harder. They spent months planning the best way to visit as many pubs as possible.
In their 24-hour adventure, Harry and Jake managed to cover a whopping 45 kilometers. In their quest to break the Guinness World Record, Harry and Jake spent roughly 1500 Australian dollars (about Rs 83,000).
