Locals want name change of 'Chutia' police station
Tired of being the butt of jokes, the locals now want the name of their police station changed and have written to the administration demanding action.

Twitter is having a field day over the area's unusual name that has a similarity with a common Hindi expletive.

Many users reacted to the post. While some found the name hilarious, others pointed out that there was a clear difference between the area¡¯s name and the Hindi expletive when written in Hindi.

Commuters want name of 'Bhosari' station changed
Earlier this year, 'Bhosari' metro station in Maharashtra caused a lot of confusion among commuters who demanded it be renamed.
Located on the 5-km stretch between Pimpri to Phugewadi, Bhosari station is located in Nashik Phata along with the Pune-Mumbai highway. However, the Bhosari suburb of the industrial city of Pimpri-Chinchwad is located at least 5 kilometres from the Nashik Phata station.

Many commuters have boarded the metro thinking 'Bhosari' station must be close to the Bhosari suburb. Since it isn't the case, it has been causing confusion and loss of time.
Commuters and many organisations wrote to MahaMetro asking for the name of Bhosari station to be changed.
MahaMetro has already taken notice of the issue, with its spokesperson saying the organisation was pulling over the change in the name of Bhosari station and the decision could be taken soon.
