While in today's world living with your parents even though you are a full-grown adult might be looked down upon, a woman has turned it into a 'job'.
Stay-at-home daughter's full-time job is spending money
TikToker named Roma Abdesselam calls herself a professional 'stay-in-home daughter' and says that spending her parents' hard-earned money is like a full-time job.
The New Yorke resident is very active on social media. She keeps giving her followers glimpses of her extravagant life. She shows off expensive jewellery and clothes. She recently said that she'd spent over $50,000 (Rs 39.49 lakh) in a single day, as she picked up goods by Gucci, Dior, Chanel and Prada.
She mentioned that she has turned to spending her parent's money "into a job, and that's been very, very fun for me".
"Every day I wake up in the morning, have breakfast, go to a workout class and go shopping with my girlfriends at Bergdorf¡¯s - and that¡¯s my life being unemployed," she said to the New York Post.
"Some days I spend ?41,000 ($50,000) - I often get tricked by sales associates who¡¯ll say something like, ¡®Oh, this is the last Chanel exotic.¡¯ And I¡¯m like, ¡®Oh my god, I have to all these exotics. I need them."
Even though she never mentioned what her parents do, she has been grounded for spending lavishly. But apparently, that hasn't gone on for long.
She doesn't wear the same outfit twice
Roma doesn't like anything that is an inconvenience for her. She doesn't even wash her hair because of this. She gets rid of an outfit after wearing it once or twice. She doesn't like to have clutter, so she donates them.
