Dumbest Criminals! Thieves In Peru Steal 200 Sneakers, But All For The Right Foot
Peruvian authorities have dubbed a group of thieves the "dumb criminals of Peru" after they attempted to rob a shoe store but only stole right-footed shoes. The burglary occurred in Huancayo at night, and the shop owner estimates a loss of nearly $13,000. However, the perpetrators could not sell the shoes because they were incomplete pairs.
In a bizarre robbery attempt, three criminals in Huancayo, Peru, broke into a shoe shop and stole more than 200 shoes, but only the right-footed ones. The BBC reported the incident, and although the police were alerted, the thieves managed to escape before they arrived.
The authorities were puzzled by the strange theft, wondering why anyone would steal many such shoes but only those meant for the right foot.

Police are now hunting for the suspects, using CCTV footage and fingerprint data to identify and arrest them.
It remains unclear what motivated the thieves to steal only right-footed shoes. Some speculate that the criminals did not plan their heist thoroughly and made a significant blunder.
Others suggest they may not have realized their mistake until after the robbery.
The CCTV footage shows the thieves breaking the padlock and collecting the shoes on a tricycle. The thieves stole shoes from various small and large brands.
The police expressed surprise at the thieves' actions and vowed to catch them using the CCTV footage and fingerprint data.
Meanwhile, Twitter users have had a field day with the news of the shoe heist.
