Trolls Are Leaving Reviews For The Game Controller That Steered Titanic Sub Underwater
In a bizarre move, trolls are gathering on Amazon to leave reviews below the game controller that was revealed to have been used to steer the sunken Titanic Submersible underwater.
The recent OceanGate Submersible tragedy has shaken people to their core. The underwater transport, which had five passengers on board, started hogging the headlines when it lost all contact with the surface. It was then announced that the passengers inside had just about 70 hours before the oxygen on the submersible was consumed.
Trolls Leave Reviews For Titan Sub Controller On Amazon
The Titan Sub was part of an excursion that took passengers on an expedition to search for the Titanic shipwreck. However, this time the sub did not make it back to shore as news of all five passengers losing their lives reached global audiences.
While the search mission was still on, it came to light that the missing Titan submarine was operated using an older Logitech video game controller that children use at home.
Logitech¡¯s F710 gamepad was originally designed for PC gaming and is priced at $30 (in India, it's sold for Rs 4,269). The affordable controller is used on the expensive submersible, which is estimated to cost over $250,000 (over Rs 2 Crore).
While the F710 Wireless Gamepad, which was launched in 2010, continues to be sold by Logitech under a similar pricing range online, it is suspected that the device was clearly not intended or designed to fulfill the rigorous standards required for a professional submersible¡¯s controller.
The Internet Decided To React To The Tragedy By Trolling The Controller On Amazon
The revelation at first shocked many on the internet and raised questions about the legitimacy of the company and its technology. But after some time, the whole ordeal has been taken over by internet trolls who are busy making light of the situation. Many users have taken to Amazon and are leaving snide reviews about the product on the website.

Trolls are not only leaving bad reviews but also adding a hilarious touch to the punch. The dark humour of the reviews leaving such remarks can be unsettling for many, but it is also entertaining for users on Twitter. One reviewer posted a picture of OceanGate¡¯s CEO, Stockton Rush, and wrote the review from his point of view. While others left remarks like "not waterproof," "works great in a submarine," and some such jokes.
