Wife Carves 'Adulterer' On Cheating Husband's Gravestone After He Dies Making Love To Colleague
A woman in Canada got the word "adulterer" carved on her husband's tombstone after he died while making love to a colleague.
A wife finds a perfect way to avenge her husband's affair with a co-worker. A woman in Canada got the word "adulterer" carved on her husband's tombstone after he died while making love to a colleague.
The post came to the limelight on the internet after the woman's son shared the story on Reddit.
After his father passed away from a heart attack while having sex with a coworker, a son defended his mother for inscribing "adulterer" on the gravestone of her dead husband.
The son posted the bizarre revenge tale on the "Am I The Asshole" Reddit group, questioning if he had been fair to decline to replace it.
He described how his father had a prolonged affair with a colleague at work who became pregnant with his child and was planning to emigrate to Canada with her to escape a tumultuous marriage.
"He had moved out and was living with his co-worker when he suddenly died of a heart attack while having sex. Divorce papers were never filed, no legal separation. They were in the process of moving all things legal. But on paper, they were still happily married," the man said.
"Well, my mom was hurt and petty and marked his gravestone as ¡®In loving memory of John Doe, son, husband, father, and adulterer.¡¯"
The Redditor said that while his Dad's family and the colleague are furious at the spiteful engraving, he believes it accurately captures his Dad's character.
Many others on the subreddit weighed in with a voice of passionate praise of the carving, even though the contributor believed the gravestone was disrespectful and possibly hurtful to those who loved the adulterer.
"Your mom is the MVP. I love her," read a comment.
In the past, a father's gravestone in the United States sparked controversy owing to a disguised curse phrase.
At first glance, the gravestone at an Iowan cemetery seemed utterly normal. However, a thorough look uncovered the following inscription: "F*** off."
