Not The Groom, But A Future Employee: Woman Tries To Hire Match On Matrimonial Site For Her Startup
A woman has shared screenshot of a chat with her father after she offered a job at her Bengaluru-based start-up to a matrimonial match sent by him.
Parents really want their kids to settle down. To find a good guy, they talk to relatives and even make a profile on a matrimonial site. But a father was left shocked after he forwarded a probable groom's profile to his daughter but what she did do with that profile was actually quite hilarious.
Udita Pal is the co-founder of Bengaluru-based Salt, a fintech platform that facilitates international transactions. What she did was she offered a job to the guy her father recommended.
Ms Pal also went ahead and shared a screenshot of her father's reaction when he learnt what she had done.
Her father's text begins with the message, ¡°Can we talk? Urgent.¡±
Then he goes on to ask her, ¡°You know what you did?¡±
He adds, ¡°You cannot hire people from matrimonial sites. What to tell his father now?¡±
He further says, ¡°I saw your message. You gave him an interview link and asked for his resume.¡±
Then Udita replied to all those messages with ¡°7 years of fintech experience is great and we are hiring. I am sorry.¡± Ms Pal captioned the tweet, ¡°What getting disowned from father looks like.¡±
