5 Billionaires Closest In Race To Overtake Elon Musk As World's Second Richest Person
Louis Vuitton¡¯s founder and CEO Bernard Arnault overtook Elon Musk as the world¡¯s richest person last month. Elon Musk not only lost the title of world¡¯s richest person, but also became the first ever person ever in the world to lose $200 billion in net worth.
In December 2022, French luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton¡¯s founder and CEO Bernard Arnault overtook Elon Musk as the world¡¯s richest person. Arnault and his family currently have a net worth of $204 billion, as per Forbes' real-time rich list, whereas Musk's net worth is $146.5 billion.
Twitter and Tesla CEO Elon Musk not only lost the title of the world¡¯s richest person but also became the first-ever person ever in the world to lose $200 billion in net worth. Even in 2023, Musk¡¯s net worth has continued to sink. If the trend continues, it looks certainly hard for Musk to even retain second place in the world's richest list.
But who could replace him as the world's richest person? Well, there are not one or two but in fact, five billionaires as per Forbes list who are closest in the race to replace Elon Musk as the world's second richest person
