Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday, December 13, in connection with the stampede at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa 2. According to the latest reports, the actor is unhappy about the way in which the cops handled his arrest.?

Allu Arjun visited the Sandhya Theatre on December 4 to attend the premiere of Pushpa 2. This led to a stampede-like situation in which a woman lost her life and her son picked up serious injuries.

?The deceased fan’s family soon filed a complaint against the star, the theatre’s management, and the star's security team. Three people were arrested in connection with the case. On Friday, the cops arrested Allu Arjun in connection with the tragedy.?

According to Times Now, Bunny said that he has no issues with being arrested but isn’t okay with the way the whole thing was handled. The cops apparently entered his bedroom and started questioning him about the tragedy.?

“Arresting me is not an issue, but coming into my bedroom and not allowing me to change clothes is a bit too much," he told the cops.

Earlier in the day, videos of him with the cops went viral on social media. He was seen with a coffee mug in them.?

Work matters

On the work front, Allu Arjun is currently in the limelight because of his latest film Pushpa 2. The actioner hit the screens on December 5 and opened to a thunderous response at the box office. It also received rave reviews. The film is directed by Sukumar and centres on the titular smuggler as he tries to expand his ‘empire’. The film features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady and has proved to be a game-changer for the ‘Kodava Beauty’. The cast includes Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, and Rao Ramesh.?

Allu Arjun will reprise his role in Pushpa 3, which has already been announced. It will, however, take at least a couple of years for the film to go on the floors. The ‘Stylish Star’ also has a film with Sandeep Vanga in his kitty.?
