Throwback To Kriti Sanon’s Old Ad With Aamir Khan Which She Starred In, Way Before Her Debut

Even when one sits and scrolls the entire internet, there will always be something left unseen. That’s how some of the old projects of Bollywood stars are. Time and again several auditions, ads and clips from the life of popular celebs resurfaces and we wonder how soon so far have all of us arrived.

Here’s an old one that we have pulled out for us that features actress Kriti Sanon from her struggling days to find a big break.

This mobile phone dates back to much before the time Kriti entered Bollywood. Kriti so far has been a part of some successful films including Housefull 4, Luka Chuppi, Mimi, Bhediya, Raabta and Dilwale to name a few. Interestingly, Kriti in this old featured opposite Aamir Khan who back then promoted Samsung phones.

Unknown to many, not just this one, Kriti at the start of her career did numerous commercials and she loved that process.

She revealed this in an interview with Masala, “It’s actually been a journey from engineering to the ad world and modelling. I was a very studious girl, immersed in my studies or dancing.? In my second year of engineering college, I started modelling as a hobby and realised I loved the process of shooting and being in front of the camera while working on TV commercials and advertisements.”

“Commercials didn’t require much acting but I felt very comfortable with whatever little was required of me. Even the ad directors who I worked with said that I had that innate quality in me that I should explore further. I slowly discovered that I had a natural potential for acting,” the Panipat actress added.

Kriti in the same interview that was taken ahead of her debut with Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff revealed how she landed that opportunity.

The Bareilly Ki Barfi actress shared, “Sabbir sir (the Heropanti director) had seen one of my commercials and once called me for a meeting at Sajid Nadiadwala’s office. I met him for a script narration and he explained my character to me. I loved the character I played in the film – Dimpy. I had a photo shoot, a look test and a screen test for the same.”

“As soon as we wrapped up the tests, Sabbir sir took me to meet Sajid sir and he surprised me in the car by telling me that I would be signing the film. I didn’t expect it to happen so soon, but that’s what happened!” On the work front next, Kriti has Shehzada, Adipurush and Ganapath in her kitty.
