Ranbir Kapoor's look from his upcoming movie Shamshera has been leaked online and it is nothing like what we have seen in his previous films. The poster that is going viral on social media as we speak shows Ranbir Kapoor in a never-seen-before avatar as he dons messy hair, long beard and a thick moustache.?
The Brahmastra actor is also seen holding a deadly weapon indicating that he's ready for the battle of life.?
From the looks of the poster, we can assume that Shamshera is going to be a high-octane entertainer that is set in the 1800s in the heartland of India. Ranbir Kapoor is portraying the titular character in the film that has Sanjay Dutt donning the hat of his arch-enemy. His rugged look in the leaked Shamshera poster has taken the internet by storm as excited fans flocked to Twitter to share the same creating a huge buzz.?
Taking to the micro blogging platform, one user wrote, "HOLY SH**TT I EXPECTED INTENSITY BUT THIS INTENSEEEE???." Another hailed the Brahmastra actor saying, "Ranbir was shooting for both these Characters simultaneously for around 3 years ?Proud to be his Fan ?? " while a third wrote, "Even his haters are admitting that he is looking so hot and stunning in this new avatar of Shamshera."?
Surprised by the Ranbir Kapoor's fierce look, a fourth user further expressed, "Being from a 'Kapoor' family, he can easily go with commercial masala directors to gain the top spot. But this guy experiments again and again, no matter how many times he falls. Be it Brahmastra, Shamshera or Animal, He never stops experimenting."
Moreover, Shamshera director Karan Malhotra has reacted to his flm's poster?leak. “We keep planning our lives so that we land things at the perfect time but in doing so we forget that the Universe is always on time. Incidents like these are a true example of that! I’m just happy that people and fans of Ranbir Kapoor are loving his look and the poster of 'Shamshera'," the director told TOI.?
Karan Malhotra further said that they wanted to start the campaign mid-next week, however, it seems fans couldn’t wait for them to start. "I don’t blame them. They have waited for too long. Ranbir is returning to the cinemas after 4 years, and it is difficult to control the excitement. I’m just glad that the reactions are great," he added.?
Shamshera will hit theatre screens on?July 22, 2022.

The Marvel-like Brahmastra trailer gave glimpses of all the characters with their divine weapons. Starring Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and Ranbir Kapoor himself, Brahmastra is slated to release on September 9, 2022.?
