While there is no official confirmation, reports hint that Sethupathi might be cast in the role of 'Vibhishana.'
For those unaware, Vibhishana was a member of the demon clan and was Ravana's younger brother.
Owing to discord with Ravana and his opposition to the abduction of Sita, Vibhishana left Lanka.
Under the guidance of his mother, he opted to join forces with Rama, who, at that time, was assembling an army to confront Ravana and liberate his kidnapped wife.
As per circulating reports, a recent interaction between director Nitesh Tiwari and Sethupathi included the narration of a script.It is speculated that the actor has shown keen interest in the project, hinting at a possible collaboration with the filmmaker for the movie.
Vijay was recently seen in the film 'Merry Christmas,' where he shared the screen with Katrina Kaif.?
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash is anticipated to play Ravana. There are also reports indicating Sunny Deol as a possible Hanuman and Lara Dutta in the role of Kaikeyi.
