Ever since the first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita has been leaked, the excitement level of fans for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, especially after Adipurush debacle is only gaining momentum. However, a section of people are angry over Kapoor's casting in the film based on Hindu mythology. "Is it right that Beef-eater Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Lord Shri Ram? How long will the Hindu gods and goddesses and their faith continue to be insulted?" they ask.?
An old video in which Ranbir Kapoor says, "I'm a big beef guy" has circulated on the internet once again. The video is from the time when Ranbir Kapoor was promoting Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar, a pathbreaking film in his career. During an interview, he talks about his love for food and how much he likes eating beef.?
"Meet A Big Beef guy Ranbir Kapoor!He is playing the role of lord Shri Ram in the upcoming Ramayana movie ....!!" a user tweeted on X. "Big Beef guy Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play the role of lord Shri Ram in the upcoming Ramayana movie. This Bollywood movie is going to be another disaster like Adipurush," added another one.

"While the film will be shot, Ranbir will abstain completely from drinking and eating meat. These are not things he would avoid just for his public image, but also, as a dedicated actor Ranbir wants to feel as pure and clean as Sri Rama. In any case, Ranbir is not into late nights and wild parties," an insider had told India Today.
This is not the first time Ranbir Kapoor-beef video has gone viral on social media.?The same video started doing the rounds around the time of Brahamastra's release. A lot of people were demanding a boycott of the film.?Kunal Vijayakar the host of the show to whom Ranbir Kapoor confessed about his love for beef had then clarified, "Ranbir Kapoor¡¯s interview was over 11-12 years ago.?this was before the whole beef ban."?
