Jason Shah, known for his role in the recently released Heeramandi, fondly reminisced about his experience working with Salman Khan on the set of the film Partner. Speaking to Entertainment LIVE, Shah shared his admiration for Khan's laid-back approach, recalling how the star would leisurely arrive on set at 3 p.m., prompting the producer to request that he start working with folded hands by 4:30 p.m..
Shah, who was initially drawn to Bollywood after a small stint in Partner's song 'Dupatta Tera Nau Rang Da', expressed his fascination with the industry, saying, "I wanted to live this amazing life." Reflecting on his encounter with Khan, he remarked, "Salman Khan would arrive on set at 3 in the afternoon on his motorbike; nobody would do any work. At 4:30, the producer would request, with folded hands, that he do just one shot. I loved it. It looked like a relaxed life."
Notably, Shah's account echoes previous reports of Salman Khan's tardiness on set. Govinda, another co-star in Partner, has also been known for his habitual tardiness. Furthermore, instances of Khan's late arrivals have been recounted by other industry figures, such as Kubbra Sait and Grusha Kapoor, adding to the discussion around punctuality in Bollywood.
