Why did Vikrant Massey announce his retirement?

If we go by what he wrote in his post, Vikrant Massey is currently trying to stay closer and more involved in the lives of his family. His note mentions,? “But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor.”

The Sabarmati Report was screened at Parliament's Balyogi Auditorium in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and several Members of Parliament were there. They were joined by Bollywood celebs and the film's cast too.

Vikrant also told ANI, “This is the highest point of my career, that I got to watch my film with the Prime Minister.”

For the unversed, Vikrant was currently at the peak of his career with his latest releases like 12th Fail and The Sabarmati Report.
