On Tuesday, Gal Gadot became the first Israeli actor to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Gadot mentioned her Israeli heritage multiple times throughout her remarks at the ceremony, even using a little Hebrew. However what got people’s attention was a video of her kissing her daughter on the lips. While some people felt that it is just a daughter and mom’s affection, a few thought it's not quite alright. People mentioned how she should not kiss her daughter on the lips like this.?

The video was shared on People magazine’s social media page and they captioned the video, “#GalGadot had a sweet mother-daughter moment during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.”

?Reacting to it, one wrote, “Idk I guess each person is different but I don't do that to my kids. My mom didn't do that and I don't either.”

Another went on to add, “That kinda made me feel uncomfortable not gonna lie.”

Taking Gal’s side, one wrote, “I hate social media. Because you know EXACTLY what you are trying to do posting such an INNOCENT moment!!.”? Another wrote in support, “I kissed their mouths..all 3 of my kids. Kissed my grandbabies on their mouth too. No regrets.”

Political protesters disrupt the ceremony?

The Wonder Woman star, a vocal admirer of the Israeli military, had several dozen demonstrators before the ceremony. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators carried posters that included, "Heroes Fight Like Palestinians," "Viva Viva Palestina," and "No Other Land Won Oscar," all of which were in reference to the documentary on Israeli incursions into Palestinian territory in the West Bank that took home this month's best documentary award, Variety reports.
