How does it feel like to a celebrity living next door? While you think it's almost fan moment that stays with you forever, it might be a tricky situation for the public figure. Why, you ask? This incident that happened with Two And A Half Men star Charlie Sheen recently is the proof!
The actor was minding his own business at his home when he heard a knock on the door. As soon as he opened the door, a woman, his neighbour attacked him. She ripped his shirt and tried to strangle him. "We're told she ripped Charlie's shirt and attempted to strangle him ... and then went back to her own house," TMZ quoted the cops as saying.
"We're told Charlie doesn't understand what prompted the incident but this apparently isn't his first issue with her... he told deputies he believes the same woman squirted some type of sticky liquid on his car recently," the Police said.
After the incident, Charlie Sheen called the Police and reported the matter to them. Thereafter, the woman was arrested and booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and burglary for allegedly forcing her way into the home and attacking him, reports TMZ.
Sheen has been out of the spotlight for the past six years, focusing on his recovery, parenting his 14-year-old twins Max and Bob, and settling into what he calls a "predictable routine." However, the attention has returned.??
Now, Sheen, 58, is re-entering the acting industry, beginning with an appearance as himself in two episodes of Chuck Lorre's new Max sports gambling dramedy 'Bookie', starring Sebastian Maniscalco.
Talking about his struggle with drugs and alcohol, he had earlier said, "Look, for a while, there wasn't much about my life to complain about. I lived a life where people were really happy when I showed up, and they were sad when I left. That went away when everything turned to s--t. It turned into, 'Oh, God. Here he comes,' and then 'Is he gone? Good.'"
