It has been over a decade since Avatar hit the silver screens and took us to a magical adventurous world with a rich storyline. The film released in 2009 and was much more than just another sci-fi film. Audiences loved the enchanting new world and from kids to adults, people of various age groups enjoyed the film.?
The same report also reveals that footage from the film was screened at the event for the attendees, who got a glimpse of the film wearing 3D glasses. The video was one minute long and had no dialogues. It focused on the film's setting, in the crystal blue waterbodies of Pandora. The footage also showed the people of the planet, the Na'vis, in their element, interacting with varied creatures.
In January 2020, the first glimpse of the world of Avatar 2 was shared with the world. Four concept art pictures were shared by the film's official Twitter handle. The tweet read, "In the #Avatar sequels, you won¡¯t just return to Pandora ¡ª you¡¯ll explore new parts of the world.Check out these brand new concept art pieces for a sneak peek at what¡¯s to come."
?The film is reportedly set decades after the events of the first film and will focus on the story of Jake, Neytiri, and their children. To jog your memory a bit, Jake was an explorer in the first film who goes to the mystic land to uncover its secret by transferring himself into the body of a Na'vi. However, he switches sides after understanding the Na'avi people's plight and also falls in love with Neytiri. His human form is presumably dead towards the end of the film.
