The Kashmir Files found itself mired in controversies even before it hit the silver screens. From being called a 'propaganda film' by certain section of people to being accused of showing 'half truths' by a political leader, the film is gathering a lot of attention.?
The actress said that by looking at the numbers, it's clear that the film 'can't be a bad one'. She said, "I see the numbers. Whatever might be the reason, however, it happened, the fact is that it happened."
Meanwhile, director Vivek Agnihotri recently announced that they will soon build a 'genocide museum' in Bhopal that?will?showcase Indian values of Humanity and Vishwa kalyan'. He added that the 'museum will also highlight how terrorism destroys humanity'.??

The Kashmir Files stars Anupam Kher,?Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumaar,?Pallavi Joshi,?Chinmay Mandlekar and others in important roles. The film had an average start at the box office but picked up numbers after fans and critics heaped praises on it. After collecting over INR 200 crore at the box office, the film is still going strong in theatres.?
Set in the 1990s, the film is a hard-hitting narration of the atrocities committed by terrorists against Kashmiri Pandits.?
