Three years ago, a then 22-year-old, Taylor Myers wrote a poem about how heartbreaking love can be. The untitled poem, which the poet posted to her Tumblr account addressed how Taylor's biggest fear was discovered during a class called 'Relationships For Life' when she experienced having someone fall out of love with her.?
¡®¡®I learned that most people fall out of love for the same reasons they fell in it. That their lover¡¯s once endearing stubbornness has now become refusal to compromise and their one-track mind is now immaturity and their bad habits that you once adored is now money down the drain. Their spontaneity becomes reckless and irresponsible and their feet up on your dash is no longer sexy, just another distraction in your busy life," she wrote.
This heartbreaking poem quickly went viral, garnering a million shares on Tumblr in less than 12 hours. The internet has been going crazy ever since and now this poem has resurfaced again.?
The enduring appeal of this poem is how simply it brings forward an observation of how most people fall out of love for the same reason they fell in it in the first place. How you can become ugly for who, you were once the most beautiful thing in the world. Indeed, a gripping thought.??

And this fear came true for Ria Sharma* who divorced her husband a little two years into their marriage. She told Indiatimes, "My husband and I met at a casino in Macau. I used to like a nice sweet game of poker but not him. He would bet serious money every single round. Three years into my marriage, I open the doors of my house to its new owners because of my husband who gambled our home away!"
While for Karan Khanna*, his love faded away because of his wife's reckless nature.?
"She was reckless, easy-going and chill as a girlfriend. But as a wife, ?you need to be a little more responsible. Buying clothes and shoes we couldn't afford, running into debt on credit card bills every two months, spontaneously driving off to Jaipur alone when we have a family commitment that morning, not picking up her phone or informing where she is. Once she forgot to pick our daughter up from school because she went day drinking with her girlfriends, that was it then for me," he told Indiatimes.?

"So then why do some people never fall out of love with their partners?" a user on Tumblr asked Tayor Meyers, the poet.?
"That's because love is a choice and not a feeling,"?beautifully implying that love is a choice because the feeling may fade away but it's the choice of looking for that feeling again and again in one person. If you ask us, nothing made our day better than this.
