According to the police, it all started with a boy based in Bengaluru planning a party in Hyderabad for friends ahead of reopening of schools.?
He contacted three friends in Hyderabad, who surveyed different pubs in the city and zeroed in on Insomnia Pub on Road Number 36 in posh Jubilee Hills.
Three boys on their Instagram page in April declared 'Euphoria coming soon'.?
It was announced that it will be a non-alcohol and non-smoking party. Since the organisers were all minors, Osman Ali Khan, a major on their behalf made the booking after the pub management agreed to slash the ticket price from Rs 1,200 to Rs 900 per head.?
The organisers continued collecting Rs 1,200 from those interested in attending the party. More than 150 people had bought the tickets to attend the party and the Bengaluru-based boy paid Rs 1 lakh as advance to the pub.
The victim who was accompanied by a friend to the party had paid Rs 1,300 for the ticket.
She and her friend left the party mid-way after one of the minor accused started misbehaving.
After the friend left in a cab, the minor accused approached the victim.
She then got into a Mercedes Benz with four minor boys to the bakery and the other four went to the bakery in an Innova.??
She later got into the Innova, on which the minor boys also boarded.
The victim was raped by one of the minors, followed by the others inside the Innova.
Then they brought back her to the pub and they dropped her off before leaving.
The victim who left the pub in her father's vehicle, revealed the incident to her family only two days later, after which a police complaint was registered.
