The social media user was responding to a discussion on X about rampant mobile phone theft. It all began with a social media account (@cokanestudio) responding to a post that showed a set of photos of Puducherry. @cokanestudio quoted the post and said that "3rd pic is where my fren's phone got stolen."
Several others soon joined the discussion and narrated how they lost their phones and how they never got them back. While discussing how Apple devices are better than Android when it comes to tracking down stolen ones, "Basked Samosa" said, "idk how thieves caught up to it, but none of my friends who had their iPhones stolen could locate it back using the Find My network."

He then shared a photo of his Apple AirPods case, which had a fist bump emoji engraved on it. "Same reason why I engraved the emoji on my AirPods so that it gets confused as Micromax and gets saved," he said.
The post soon went viral, with many finding it extremely clever and creative. "Big brain pro max, Micromax," wrote one person, while another said, "Tim Cook ready to recall these Micromax AirPods as we speak."
