The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday evening raided a passenger cruise ship anchored here and busted a party onboard where drugs were being used.
There were hundreds of passengers on the Goa-bound ship.
Acting on a tip-off that a party was scheduled on the ship, NCB team led by its zonal director Sameer Wankhede boarded the vessel and conducted searches, a senior official told news agency PTI.
"The agency has detained 8 to 10 persons. They were brought to the NCB office in south Mumbai and questioned till early morning," he said.
Reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, is among those detained.?
NCB officials have seized Aryan Khan's mobile phone and are examining the chats and text messages on it as part of their probe into the Mumbai cruise rave bust.
Mobile phones of the other detainees have also been recovered and their details are being verified.
NCB officials have also pulled the videos of Aryan Khan onboard the cruise ship raided last night.
Reports suggest that? Aryan Khan was invited as a guest to the Mumbai cruise ship party. He did not have to pay for entry. During questioning, Aryan Khan revealed that organisers of the event had invited others using his name.
He has not been booked or arrested.

Arbaaz Merchant is a close friend of Aryan Khan, actor Shah Rukh Khan's son.
A 14 page document called the Crayark Bible was circulated by the event managers of the cruise. This was a formal guide given to all the attendees.
It included general Do's and Don't for the cruise, had a list of artists and other attractions including the FTV pool party and names of about 25 artists performing.
It also had a "No drugs or illegal substances" warning.
NCB officials seized various illegal drugs such as cocaine, hashish, and MDMA during the raid.
