A political scandal has erupted in Thailand after a prominent member of the Democratic Party?was allegedly caught?in a compromising situation with her 24-year-old adopted son, who is also a monk. Prapaporn Choeiwadkoh, aged 45, has been suspended from her party pending an investigation following the incident.
Choeiwadkoh's?husband, identified only as Ti, reportedly drove over five hours from Bangkok to Sukhothai after becoming suspicious of his?wife's?relationship with the monk, Phra Maha. Upon arriving, he purportedly discovered them together in bed, prompting a heated confrontation.
"Are you two?very happy?"?Ti was heard asking in?a state of?anger as he found them in the bedroom.

Ti revealed that his wife had convinced him to adopt the monk, stating that she felt sorry for him and wanted to offer support. However, he became increasingly suspicious of their interactions over time.
"My wife has always been very religious. We even met at the local temple. But?recently?I noticed that she was spending more time with the young monk,"?Ti told local media.
He blamed Phra Maha for allegedly seducing his wife, expressing a sense of betrayal and anger.?"With regards to this boy, I think that he tricked my wife and seduced her,"?Ti stated.

In her?defense, Choeiwadkoh denied any wrongdoing, asserting that they were merely conversing and planning to shower together, with no sexual activity involved.
"We?didn't?have sex then. Nothing happened,?it's?not what it looks like in the video.?He?had some problems, so we were?just?talking together, and then we were going to shower,"?she?clarified.
Choeiwadkoh,?who has been?a member of?Thailand¡¯s?Democratic Party since March 2023, now faces suspension pending further investigation into the scandal that has captivated the nation.
