One of the most successful tag teams in recent WWE history, The New Day, celebrated its 10th anniversary on Monday, but the moment fans had been waiting for took an unexpected turn, suggesting it could be over for Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E as a team. Big E, who has been away from in-ring action since March 11, 2022, when he suffered a career-threatening injury, made his much-anticipated return to join Woods and Kingston to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The New Day on Monday Night RAW.

However, fans who were delighted to see Big E back in the ring with his friends were left heartbroken when Woods and Kingston turned their backs on him.
Tensions have been brewing between Woods and Kingston for some time, and Big E, who is not yet medically cleared to wrestle, offered to stay with his friends as a manager to hold the team together.
'You didn't care for us'
This was met with a resounding no, with Woods and Kingston accusing Big E of not caring for them until now.
¡°If you really, truly cared about us, you would have been back here a long time ago.¡±
¡°Broken neck or not, you chose yourself over us,¡± Woods said.
They even told Big E that he would never be cleared to wrestle again and that he needed to just go back to his desk job.

A shocked Big E then tried to hug his friends, only for them to push him away.
¡°It¡¯s like that? It¡¯s over? That¡¯s it? This is it? Is that what you¡¯re telling me? This is over?¡± Big E asked before leaving the two men who had been with him for the past ten years.
