Apple released a host of devices at its 'Far Out' event on September 7. The new range of Apple devices include the hotly anticipated iPhone 14 series, Apple AirPods Pro 2, and Apple Watch Series 8.
Apple Watch Series 8 is the successor to last year's Apple Watch 7 that came in two sizes - 41mm and 45mm. The new Apple Watch Series 8 comes with a lot of fresh features and three iterations - Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE 2, and the brand new Apple Watch Ultra.
Apple Watch Series 8 comes with more features for health, safety, and connectivity. A new temperature sensor that focuses on women's health was introduced in Series 8, building on cycle tracking that was introduced three years ago.?

The new temperature sensor can provide a retrospective assessment of when you may have ovulated, and even spot cycle deviations. Apple says this data is end-to-end encrypted and can only be accessed by the user.
Apple Watch Series 8 now comes with "crash detection" that can detect people who may have been in car crashes, later connecting them to emergency services. The new gyroscope works with two new sensors and other aspects of the Apple Watch Series 8 to detect car crashes.
Apple claims that the Apple Watch Series 8 has an 18-hour battery life. But now, the watch will come with a low power mode while extending the battery life to 36 hours.
Apple Watch Series 8 will come in four colours -Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Project Red.

Stock features like blood oxygen, ECG, sleep tracking, and fast charging, along with new features of Watch OS 9 will be available on the Apple Watch Series 8. In addition, international roaming will be allowed straight from the watch on this iteration.
