Snake encounters are one too many in Australia giving rise to the now-popular phrase "just Australia things." It's one thing to step out with the intention to interact with wildlife, but it's quite another to find it, uninvited in your home. This viral video is just more proof that Australia is not for beginners.?
The now-viral clip, shot from inside someone's home, shows a massive python going about its day while getting ready for its next meal. The giant reptile hangs off the side of the unnamed person's roof while slowly coiling around what seems like a big bird and crushing it to death. It continues to hang from the roof for the entire length of the video which lasts all of 14 seconds. The terrifying sight is the last thing you'd expect to see when parting your curtains for a view of your garden. This shock value is perhaps what made the video viral.
