Parents have a hard time disciplining their children, especially when it comes to cleaning the mess in their rooms. Seeing as a father was having a similar problem with his kids, he came up with the idea to turn into his villainous alter ego and play a game with them.??
The man turned the chores for the kids into a game of bribery. The anonymous dad taped a printout of the game rules on his kids¡¯ doors. The custom pamphlet informed the kids that they had to get through a set of chores mentioned in the rules to get their wifi password back.
"Let's play a game," the first lines of the paper said, a direct reference to the horror film "Saw"?where the character Jigsaw says the famous line. An image of the character was also attached to the headline of the paper.
The dad wrote on the game rules, "Today¡¯s WiFi password can be unlocked by texting or emailing me two pictures of a tidy bedroom."
The hilarious instructions further continued, "One picture must contain your wash basket, which will be used ¡ª and not placed in the corner of your room like an alien object that you think will burn if touched."
It also said, "I¡¯ve also hid your XBox controllers. A clean bathroom and toilet will reveal a secret to their location. May luck be on your side."
A picture of the game rules was first posted on Facebook back in 2017 and has been brought back by Mum Central once again. It has since gone viral on the internet, with parents hailing the efforts of the parent.
One user wrote, "And my kids would spend the time finding the stuff I hid, rather then doing the jobs and getting it quicker.?Treasure?hunt to my kids, not cleaning. Lol." Another added, "I¡¯m going to use it on Corey." A third worried, "if only you could turn off their mobile data too !!!"
A commenter thought the idea would work on their kids, ¡° I¡¯m sure our teenagers will clean up! If we did this to them.¡± While another jokingly noted, ¡°People thinking this is brilliant but forgetting that this movie came out like 19 years ago and your kids would probably have no idea what this reference even means.¡±
