Adil Teli, a professional cyclist from Kashmir valley, has completed his expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in eight days, 1 hour and 37 minutes.?
Adil's 3600-km-long journey from Srinagar to the southernmost part of the country had started on March 22. After pulling up the speed on his bicycle which some him cross many Indian states, he finally reached his destination on Tuesday, Loksatta reported.?
On reaching Kanyakumari, Adil was thrilled to have completed the rare feat. Talking to reporters, he thanked his sponsors for providing him with the required gear, and also expressed gratitude to them for the support. He also reserved a special mention for his crew members and people of Kashmir.?
Hailing from Narbal area of Central Kashmir's Budgam district, Adil has been a seasoned performer. He has previously cycled at national level several times, both for his state and Kashmir University.?

In 2019, he had also covered a 440km distance between Srinagar and Leh, Kashmir in 26 hours and 30 minutes.
Having started his cycling career in 2014, Adil has grown in stature over the years. Regarded is one of the best cyclists to come out of the valley, he has been making quite an impression not only in his home state, but also in other parts of the country.?

While he has made the headlines again, he has been emphasising?on the need for him to do well at the national level competitions and winning laurels for his home state. As he continues to work hard, it is only a matter of time before he makes his mark at the top level.?
