The suicide of 34-year-old Bengaluru techie Atul Subhas has shocked the nation, with his 24-page note revealing harassment by his wife as the cause. As more details unfold, his final post on X is going viral.
At 1:39 am on December 9, Atul Subhas posted on X, saying, "A dead man is requesting @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump?to save millions of life from Woke Ideologies, Abortion, DEI and restore freedom of speech in India."
He also shared a repost of his own video on Rumble, stating, "I will be dead when you will read this. A legal genocide of men happening in India currently."
Atul Subhas, originally from Uttar Pradesh, had been living alone in Bengaluru's Marathahalli area after separating from his wife.?
Employed as a senior executive in a private company, he was found dead at his home on Monday morning.?
Authorities discovered a placard reading "justice is due" and a 24-page suicide note in his room.
In his note, Subhas accused his wife, who was already receiving Rs 40,000 in monthly maintenance, of demanding an additional Rs 2-4 lakh from him.?
He further claimed that she used the money to alienate their son, who was in her custody.
The note also detailed accusations of harassment, domestic violence, dowry demands, and false cases filed against him.?
Subhas's family revealed that his estranged wife had demanded Rs 3 crore in exchange for withdrawing the charges.
Subhash's father said, "She (Subhash's wife) used to frame one charge after another. He must have been frustrated but never let us feel that."
He added, "Suddenly, we received the information about the incident. He sent a mail to our younger son around 1 am."
"He said the judge and others did not follow the law, did not even follow the guidelines of high courts and the Supreme Court."
Subhash's mother shared, "They tortured my son, they tortured us too. But my son took everything upon himself. He endured everything, he did not let us suffer. He kept burning inside."
